Mobile Outreach
We offer a Mobile Outreach Service that provides educators with expanded access to LRC-South’s library resources by delivering them on‐site to eligible schools throughout the seven southern counties of New Jersey.
Mobile Outreach Program
Services & Requirements
- A Mobile Outreach School Information and Agreement form must be completed, signed, and returned annually to the LRC-South by a school contact.
- All participating staff members are required to have a current, individual LRC-South membership.Members can view their current account status by logging on to lrcsouth.goalexandria.com and use their membership number or email to access their Patron Account.
- Mobile Outreach visits are scheduled approximately every four to six weeks, depending on location and need.
- Schools are required to be located in the seven southern counties (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem) of New Jersey and provide direct service to students with disabilities.
- Delivery of resources (PD books, lesson activity resources, classroom kits, etc.) and Production Services can be requested by individual teachers through our Mobile Outreach Delivery Request Form.
- Library resources may be pre-selected via the LRC-South’s Online Researcher. Resource selections may be put on HOLD via your online patron account or listed individually on the Mobile Outreach Delivery Request Form.
- Participating patrons/schools agree to utilize Mobile Outreach services adequately and adhere to the LRC- South Patron Policies.
- The LRC-South reserves the right to adjust services.
Our History
For nearly 50 years, the Learning Resource Center Network has offered mobile outreach services to schools across the Garden State. Our Mobile Outreach Service is dedicated to bringing quality outreach to school districts and extended school programs. With a vision of supporting student success at every turn, we are proud to continue the Mobile Outreach tradition into 2021 and beyond!
