LRC-South Technical Assistance

The LRC-South partners with schools through technical assistance to support inclusive practices using a multifaceted approach:

  • Providing customized professional learning that integrates content delivery with opportunities for collaboration, application, and reflection.
  • Building capacity through resource sharing, ongoing consultation, and protocol development.
  • Responding flexibly to school needs and educator feedback by refining targeted supports and differentiating professional learning, coaching, and facilitation.
Our goal is to support professional growth and sustainability as educators implement inclusive practices to meet the needs of all students. Toward that end, our technical assistance team is available to work with a variety of educators, such as district and school administrators, instructional coaches, teachers, paraprofessionals, child study team members and related service providers.

Targeted areas for technical assistance may include, but are not limited to:
  • Co-teaching
  • Instructional team collaboration
  • Universal design for learning
  • Student engagement
  • New teacher support
While every school partnership is unique, all services and supports provided through technical assistance are aligned with the CEEDAR Center and CEC’s high leverage practices for students with disabilities and New Jersey’s Professional Standards for Teachers and School Leaders.

Technical assistance with the LRC-South is available for free to eligible schools throughout the seven southern counties of New Jersey.
