Self Management: Who is On Your String and in Your Heart?
Our SEL summer series continued with Who is On Your String and in Your Heart on July 20, 2022. Participants gathered around LRC-South's choose kindness rug to hear all about the heartwarming story, The Invisible String by Patrice Karst and Joanne Lew-Vriethoff. The relatable and reassuring picture book explored questions about coping with anixiety, loss and grief, as well as instilled the powerful message of the heart and the energy of love. After storytime, LRC-South staff members lead various center activities on self-management strategies and setting achieveable goals.
Did you know that the LRC-South offers a lending library for educators and families at no cost! Our vast collection of resources cover various content areas including Social Emotional Learning (SEL). To view LRC-South resources on SEL click here.
