Relationship Skills: Fabulous Friends
Thank you to all our fabulous friends who visited us throughout the summer for LRC-South's SEL family series! We had so much connecting with you and watching you learn about the SEL competencies. Fabulous Friends closed out our six-week series on July 27, 2022, where participants engaged with various activites centered around relationship building. To start off the event, Mr. Jason and his puppet friend, Amos, read aloud A Sick Day for Amos McGee by Phillip Christian Stead to all our special guests. After storytime, families explored center stations such as rainbow in a bag, Amos' stamping animal friends list, characteristics of a good friend paper plate balloon and zoo building with hands-on materials.
Did you know that the LRC-South offers a lending library for educators and families at no cost! Our vast collection of resources cover various content areas including Social Emotional Learning (SEL). To view LRC-South resources on SEL click here.
