Student Ambassadors
The College of Education’s Student Ambassador Program—launched in Fall 2025—offers undergraduate and graduate students a meaningful opportunity to shape the student experience while developing leadership and service skills. This initiative is designed to elevate student voices and actively involve students in conversations that influence programs, initiatives, and support services across the College.
Student Ambassadors serve in an advisory capacity, bringing perspectives from their peers to the table and contributing to discussions around student needs, concerns, and emerging ideas. Ambassadors are students who are members of, or hold leadership positions in, education-adjacent student organizations on campus, allowing them to represent a broad range of experiences within the College of Education community.
Ambassadors collaborate with faculty and staff on key initiatives, serve on representative committees, and help strengthen connections between students, alumni, and donors. From supporting events like Homecoming, Commencement, and the Teacher Pinning & Induction Ceremony to assisting with alumni engagement and donor appreciation, ambassadors play an active role in advancing the College’s mission.
This two-year commitment is ideal for students interested in service leadership who are eager to engage consistently, participate in two to three activities each year, and take the lead on at least one event annually. The program empowers students to advocate for their peers, share concerns, and help shape the ideas and initiatives designed to support current and future educators.
