M.A. Counseling in Educational Settings

For individuals who aspire to careers in K-12 schools, this program leads to a Master of Arts degree in Counseling in Educational Settings, and also, New Jersey certification in School Counseling.

M.A. Educational Technology

The program provides educators and educational leaders with the expertise and proficiencies needed to incorporate existing and emerging educational technologies into their classrooms and school organizations.

M.A. Equity, Access, and Success in Education

Prepares urban educators, community organizers, policymakers, school leaders, and youth-focused change agents to understand the contradictions of current urban school systems and meaningfully address the educational and broader socioeconomic disparities that urban communities too often face.

M.A. Higher Education

Designed to serve professionals without any experience in higher education administration, but who aspire to careers in that field; as well as those who are already practicing administrators in a college or university who wish to upgrade their skills.

M.A. Reading Education

The program prepares professionals to teach literacy to all learners and serve as leaders in supporting their colleagues in the field.

M.A. School Administration

Positions graduates as collaborative leaders in a P-12 learning organization.

M.A. School Psychology

Provides a background in the theories, major knowledge and methodological procedures in psychology. We combine traditional classroom learning and extensive field experience to help you build knowledge and skills simultaneously. 

M.A. Special Education

Provides new and continuing teachers advanced studies focusing on educational, psychological, and sociological needs of the children and youth with disabilities.

M.A. STEM Education

Offers the unique opportunity for students who have undergraduate degrees in mathematics, engineering, or the sciences to pursue an initial New Jersey teaching certificate in mathematics and/or the sciences and a Master's degree simultaneously.

M.Ed. Teacher Leadership

The program is designed for teachers who desire to develop and hone their leadership skills and who wish to remain in the classroom.

M.S.T. Subject Matter Education

The program offers the unique opportunity for graduate students to simultaneously pursue New Jersey teacher certification in English, Social Studies, a World Language, or Theatre and a Master's degree in Education (MST).

Ed.S. School Psychologist

An advanced degree that enables candidates to develop practitioner expertise and awareness in interventions, consultations, and assessments for school children.
