The Certificate of Graduate Study (CAGS) in Educational Leadership enables students interested in advanced leadership coursework to engage with foundational courses without matriculating into the Ed.D. program.  The program that focuses on the general principles and techniques of administering a wide variety of schools and other educational organizations and facilities, supervising educational personnel at the school or staff level, and that may prepare individuals as general administrators and supervisors.  These courses convey key concepts related to leadership, organizational development and change, research, and diversity.  Students who complete these courses are familiar with foundational theories in Educational Leadership and the application of these theories to changing educational organizations into learning organizations committed to access, success, and educational equity for all stakeholders.  A student who has made a B- or better in the four core courses (as a matriculated or non-matriculated student) may be eligible for the CAGS.
