Praxis Core - FREE WebEx Workshop (Register Here)                                                                         

These workshops will be instructor-led, virtual workshops intended to help prepare students who will be taking the Praxis Core Exam. Each workshop will be offered at different times to give students flexibility in scheduling and ensure everyone interested is able to attend. Please register in advance as materials and links to the Webex will be emailed prior to the session and can only be sent to those that have registered.

Welcome to the College of Education’s Praxis Lab at Rowan University. The lab is presently designed to support the Praxis Core (5751) and only Praxis II elementary Education (5001). The Praxis Core and Praxis II examinations are required for New Jersey Teacher Certification. The examination measures the academic achievement and proficiency of individuals wanting to enter teacher preparation programs and become certified as a teaching professional. Each state has its own requirements regarding the Praxis test number and minimum score requirements.

Praxis Core Bootcamp Workshop (Register Here)

The Praxis Core Boot Camp is intended to help prepare participants prepare for the Praxis Core. The Boot Camp will include pre-assessment, test taking strategies, content refreshing and post-assessment. Register today because seats are limited to the first 25 registrants.

Praxis Core Rebootcamp Workshop *postponed until further notice

The Praxis Core Reboot Camp is intended to help prepare participants who either enrolled in the Praxis Core Boot Camp and struggled with one or more of the 3 part post-assessment OR who have taken the Praxis Core exam prior but were met with challenges preventing them from being successful. The Reboot Camp consists of two Saturday sessions. Both sessions are divided into three 2 hour and 15 minute sessions that focus on each of the sub-tests (see schedule below). Participants can register for 1, 2 or 3 content area sessions. Register today because seats are limited to the first 25 registrants.
