Diversity in Action Resources

Diversity in Action Resources

In 2018, the DIA Committee, led by Dr. Kate Kedley, created a visual of DIA’s interpretation of the Rowan College of Education’s goals and aspirations. The resulting “This Rowan Prof” poster has hung on the doorways of many CED faculty and staff, communicating to the entire CED community - faculty, students, visitors, etc. - what our shared values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

In 2022 the DIA Committee, led by Dr. Kate Seltzer, began creating “This Rowan Prof” extensions, which include tangible resources for faculty who wish to learn and enact these values in their teaching. As of fall 2023, the DIA Committee has created extension resources on gender and sexuality, disability and neurodiversity, and language and immigration. Click on the thumbnails below to access these resources.

The DIA Committee is committed to creating more resources for faculty that enable the College of Education to deepen its dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion in their teaching and service. Check back here as we add new resources to this list!
