We offer comprehensive leadership development programs designed for higher education administrators including Directors, Department heads, Deans, Vice Presidents, Provosts, and College or University Presidents.
The goals for leaders serving in Higher Education institutions:
- Career development experiences for higher education administrators;
- Symposiums and conferences to meet the challenges specific to the roles and duties of higher education administrators at various levels;
- Provide forums for discussion and research opportunities pertaining to higher education issues;
- Engage administrators and faculty in the higher education field for intellectual discussions, professional development and collaborative initiatives.

Dr. Tyrone W. McCombs has extensive leadership experience in higher education. Dr. Tyrone W. McCombs holds a B.A. and M. A. in English Literature from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Management from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. McCombs has worked in higher education for the past 30 years in various roles including Associate Vice President, Dean, Assistant Provost and various capacities.
Dr. McCombs currently serves as the Interim Director of the Center for Access, Success and Equity (CASE) of the College of Education. In this role, Dr. McCombs is responsible for connecting the research of the college faculty with our educational partners as a resource for development, implementation and utilization. Dr. McCombs is also an Associate Professor in the Educational Services and Leadership Department and the Coordinator for the MA in Higher Education Program. His research interests focus on the governance of higher education.
