Rowan University and the NJ Department of Education have partnered to implement the Education for the Reading Acceleration Professional Integrated Development (RAPID) Plus Initiative. The goal of the initiative is to support and bolster literacy in upper elementary schools, grades fourth through sixth. Sessions will be provided in seven counties (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem).

District and School Leader Webinar: Designing a System that Supports Effective Literacy Instruction (This webinar offers up to 3 professional development (PD) hours for district & school leaders).

Option 1: Tuesday, 3/19, 4-7 pm

Option 4: Wednesday, 6/12, 4-7 pm

Option 5: Thursday, 6/13, 4-7 pm

Registration for Educators

Please register before a session begins. You can choose either one of the virtual options OR the in-person session. Educators have the opportunity to earn 4 professional development hours. This program is NOT limited to classroom educators.

Educator Series: Developing Foundational Literacy Skills

Virtual Option 1: Complete in one week (March 4-7)

  • Module 1 - 3/4, 5-6 pm
