Biography
Dr. Williams received a B.A. from Muskingum College, a M.A. in Student Personnel Services and a M.A. School Psychology from Rowan University (Glassboro State College), and her Ph.D. from Temple University. She also has her Post-Doc from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Williams coordinates the M.A. and Ed.S. in School Psychology and teaches Behavioral/Social Assessment and Data-Based Decision Making, School Psychology: Consultation, Collaboration and Intervention and Internship in School Psychology, as well as Professional School Psychology. Outside of Rowan University, Dr. Williams participates in a number of professional organizations. She is a member of the Executive Board for the New Jersey Association of School Psychologists and is Chair of Professional Standards Committee: Ethics, Certification and Professional Issues. She is also the Chair of National School Psychology Certification Board (NSPCB) for the National Association of School Psychologists. She is the recipient of the prestigious 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of School Psychologists. Dr. Williams’ research interests include ethics problem-solving in school psychology, positive impact of student learning, assessment of school psychological services, and crisis prevention, intervention and response in schools.
