Biography
Mr. John Quinesso received his Master in the Art of Teaching (MAT) degree from Marygrove College and his B.A. from Rider University in elementary and early childhood education. He has a long history of work and service in the field of education including 33 years of elementary teaching experience. John teaches undergraduate teacher preparation courses including Clinical Practice Seminar, Teaching Students of Linguistic and Cultural Diversity, and supervises Clinical Practice candidates. He also teaches and serves as the facilitator of the course Instruction and Assessment in the Inclusive Classroom, which is required of all majors and minors in the College of Education. In addition to serving on numerous department, college, and university committees, he serves as the faculty adviser to the Rowan University Student Chapter of the ASCD. Mr. Quinesso developed and facilitates two international travel programs for Rowan education majors: TEACH and Discover INDIA! and CAMBODIA: Classrooms to Culture! He has traveled to over 70 countries on all seven continents.
