Biography

Dr. Kye is an education researcher, keynote speaker, and tenured professor. Her primary research focuses on issues of equity and diversity in early childhood and elementary education, with particular interest in culturally responsive STEM, teacher preparation, and family engagement. She is PI of the federal grant project Rowan CCAMPIS Program: Family-Friendly Campus Initiative, which aims to increase access to college education for student parents and access to high-quality early childhood education for their children. Dr. Kye speaks around the world on topics including STEM education, makerspaces, culturally sustaining teaching, college student parents, and family-centered curriculum.
