Biography

Cebrail Karayigit is an Associate Professor in the Counseling in Educational Settings program at Rowan University. Before joining the WISE department in the College of Education at Rowan, he taught at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. He and his family relocated to South Jersey in the summer of 2025. Prior to his career in higher education, Cebrail gained extensive counseling experience with diverse student populations in both school and clinical settings across various geographical regions. His research focuses on meaning in life, multicultural counseling, and school counseling. He is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a nationally certified counselor (NCC). In his free time, he enjoys going on short hikes, traveling, and playing soccer.
