Biography
Jeremy Glazer joined Rowan University in 2018 and is an Assistant Professor in the Content Area Teacher Education Department as well as part of the pre-service teaching program. He earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and Literacy from Stanford University. He also has an M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Anthropology from Amherst College. He taught high school in Philadelphia and Miami.
Dr. Glazer’s areas of research include ELA curriculum and instruction, the experiences of teachers, teacher retention and attrition, teacher preparation, and classroom discussion. His work has appeared in Teaching and Teacher Education, Teachers and Teaching: Theory and Practice, and Kappan, as well as in the NPR reporting project StateImpact and on the program Here and Now.
