Biography

Dr. Carmelo Callueng is an Associate Professor of School Psychology at the Department of Wellness & Inclusive Services in Education (WISE). He received his Ph.D. and M.Ed in School Psychology from the University of Florida. His broad research interests include promoting academic and mental health well-being of students within a multi-tiered model of intervention and assessment, test use and adaptation, and international school psychology. Prior to joining Rowan, Dr. Callueng was a faculty at the University of Nebraska and De La Salle University-Manila, Philippines. He co-authored a number of publications and currently serves as reviewer of the International Journal of School and Educational Psychology (IJSEP) and School Psychology Forum: Research in Practice. He was a recipient of scholarship and research awards from the American Academy of School Psychology (AASP), American Psychological Association (APA), Florida Association of School Psychologists (FASP), International School Psychology Association (ISPA), and University of Florida (UF). At Rowan, Dr. Callueng teaches research and professional courses in school psychology.
