UPDATE: Rowan University's Reading Clinic has moved online, but beginning in Fall 2021, parents and guardians may choose either online or in-person tutoring for their children. Our LIVE one-to-one tutoring offers reading and writing instruction that is specifically tailored to what your child needs.  Children in our summer clinic need to have access to a device with a camera.

Teaching South Jersey to read

For more than 80 years, Rowan University’s Reading Clinic in the College of Education has helped South Jersey students learn to read.

The Clinic provides one-on-one tutoring that is student-focused and personalized. Our program includes a professional evaluation to determine reading level followed by instruction tailored to each child’s needs. With curricula focused on word recognition, comprehension and writing, a one-hour investment, twice a week, is time well spent that can change a life!

The Rowan Reading Clinic provides research-based literary assessment and instruction to K-12 students within Education Hall.
