School Age Child Care (SACC) Facilitators

Folsom School District is seeking School Age Child Care (SACC) Facilitators for the before and/or after-school child care program during the 2022-2023 SY. The program runs Monday through Friday with before-care hours being 6:30 am - 8:20 am and after-school care hours being 3:10 - 6:00pm. The rate of pay will be $14.13 per hour.

TITLE: School Age Child Care Facilitator

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to pass Criminal History background check
  • Experienced child care provider or recreational/sports
  • CPR and First Aid certification

REPORTS TO: SACC Coordinator

JOB GOAL: To provide safe and supportive before and after school supervision for students.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise students during activities in SACC room, playground, gym, and to and from restrooms.
  2. Assist students as needed with homework assignments.
  3. Organize recreational activities.
  4. Maintain supplies and materials for activities.
  5. Supervise use of school equipment/technology.
  6. Check students in and out to post correct session fees.
  7. Communicate issues, concerns, or information to SACC Coordinator and/or school secretary as appropriate.
