ECDC Staff

Miss Leah Walker has been working in preschools since 2005 in varying roles. She started at the ECDC as a student worker in 2009 and is now the Lead Teacher for the Gold Owls classroom and the Director of the center. As a graduate of Rowan University with degrees in Early Childhood Education and American Studies, she is excited to be working at her alma-mater. She is a NJ certified Teacher of Preschool through Grade 3 and Students with Disabilities. When not at school, Miss Leah is an active reader, loves spending time with friends and family, and spoiling her cat, Stella.

Ms. Chickie (Charlotte) Rodgers has been the full-time instructional assistant at the ECDC for the last 15 years. She has a CDA certification. In her spare time, Ms. Chickie enjoys gardening, cooking, spending time with her four children and her grandchildren, and playing with her cat and 5 dogs (well, maybe just her dogs).
