About the Advisory Board
The College of Education Advisory Board is a group of professionals from the education, government and business and non-profit sectors who advise the Dean and College administration at its bi-annual meetings. Advisory Board members are committed to the advancement of the College and its programs.
As a consultative body advising the Dean and the administration of the College of Education, responsibilities of the Board include:
- Assisting the College with networking and partnership opportunities that will bring positive recognition to the College and that will enhance the profile of the College and its work;
- Acting as advocates for the College and its students;
- Discussing current trends in education via data provided by the administration and staff of the College, and assisting the Dean and administration with identifying the impact of those trends; and
- Endorsing the College by allowing Board members’ names to appear in College and University publications and on our website.
We are grateful for the support of these extraordinary professionals.
