About the Advisory Board

The College of Education Advisory Board is a group of professionals from the education, government and business and non-profit sectors who advise the Dean and College administration at its bi-annual meetings. Advisory Board members are committed to the advancement of the College and its programs.

As a consultative body advising the Dean and the administration of the College of Education, responsibilities of the Board include:

  1. Assisting the College with networking and partnership opportunities that will bring positive recognition to the College and that will enhance the profile of the College and its work;
  2. Acting as advocates for the College and its students;
  3. Discussing current trends in education via data provided by the administration and staff of the College, and assisting the Dean and administration with identifying the impact of those trends; and
  4. Endorsing the College by allowing Board members’ names to appear in College and University publications and on our website.

We are grateful for the support of these extraordinary professionals.
