The Interdisciplinary and Inclusive Education offers two tracks for entrance to the Post Teacher Baccalaureate Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) Endorsement Program. The first is the (on campus) undergraduate track, open to Rowan University students currently enrolled in one of the College of Education’s initial teacher endorsement programs with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The second is the online Post Baccalaureate Track, open to individuals who already hold a B.A. or B.S. degree, from an accredited institute of higher learning, with a minimum GPA of 2.75.

Instructional Certification

Possession of a standard or provisional (CEAS) NJ instructional certificate with an endorsement appropriate to the subject or grade level to be taught is required. If you have not yet applied for instructional certification, please see the NJ DOE website for details and a listing of instructional endorsements.

Program Advisement

It is necessary that you meet with Ms. Michalina Zelazny (zelazny@rowan.edu) prior to beginning the program. She will be happy to meet with you to discuss the program. To schedule an appointment, you can contact her via email. In addition, office hours are posted outside of each faculty member's door. Feel free to come in during the posted office hours.

Once in the program, it is strongly advised that you communicate, with Ms. Zelazny each semester, to discuss your progress and to answer any questions that you might have. Ongoing communication is the best way to ensure successful completion of the program.
