Association for Supervision & Curriculum Development

Educators for Diversity & Social Equity

Explore the concepts of diversity and social equity, including, race, gender, nationality, religion, sexuality, class, disabilities, and ethnicity and how they translate into the field of education. Faculty Advisor: Dr. Jaime Grookett (grookettj0@rowan.edu)

Early Childhood Club

The club hosts and participates in a variety of events to give members hands on experience working with young children and frequently invites guest speakers to give insight into the professional enviroment of educators.

Elementary Education Club

The mission of the Elementary Education Club is to engage future teachers through hands-on activities, events, and speakers. Members participate in a variety of service activities that focus on interacting with elementary-aged children. Faculty Advisor: William Rozycki (rozycki@rowan.edu)

Health & Physical Education Club

The purpose is to assist our students in becoming exceptional teachers while advocating for quality Health and Physical Education as well as practicing healthy, active lifestyles. Faculty Advisor: Dr. Maria Lepore-Stevens (leporestevens@rowan.edu)

National Art Education Association Student Chapter

This club assists members in attending and presenting at professional state and national arts educators’ association conventions. We also promote and participate in service learning activities that benefit the campus and local communities. Faculty Advisor: Dr. Jane Graziano (graziano@rowan.edu)

Kappa Delta Pi - Eta Psi Chapter (Education Honor Society)

This International Honor Society provides top education students with teaching experience, professional development, and fundraising opportunities for various charities. Faculty Advisors: Dr. Brooke Hoffman (hoffmanby@rowan.edu) and Dr. Cori Brown (browncm@rowan.edu)

Alpha Delta Kappa Collegiate Club

Open to students who identify as female and are currently pursuing an Education or Education-related degree with the goal to work in P-12 schools. ADK provides mentorship, guidance, and professional development, alongside social activities and service opportunities. Faculty Advisor: Dr. Cori Brown (browncm@rowan.edu)
