Biography
Prior to joining The College of Education in the summer of 2019 as a full-time Lecturer in the department of Interdisciplinary and Inclusive Education, I spent 8 years teaching in the Lindenwold Public School district however, my time in Lindenwold started well before then. Living in Lindenwold almost my entire life, I completed my K-12 education before receiving my Bachelor Arts in English and Elementary Education from Richard Stockton College of NJ. It would eventually come full circle when Lindenwold hired me as their new 3rd Grade teacher in the fall of 2011 at the same school I went to Kindergarten through 5th Grade. During my time in Lindenwold I taught in a General Education classroom in Grades 3 and 4 and a math coach. In the summer of 2016 my schedule was packed. I earned my Master of Arts in Reading Education from Rowan University and 4 weeks into my last course, I got married. I would eventually return to Rowan University and earn my K-12 Supervisor Certification. I would eventually end my tenure in Lindenwold team-teaching in Grades 3 and 4.
