Orientation Workshop Leader (OWL) Application of Interest

The College of Education at Rowan University is seeking P-12 teachers interested in becoming an Orientation Workshop Leader (OWL) to serve as partners and liaisons between the University and schools where Rowan’s Clinical Practice Interns are placed.  An “OWL” would serve as a mentor, resource person, and site specialist for collaborating teachers in his/her building.

Please fill out the following form to express your interest. 

  • I have mentored Rowan student teachers in the past*
  • I am familiar with the Danielson Framework for Teachers*
  • I understand that I will be required to participate in a minimum of three Rowan OWL workshops during the academic year*
  • I understand I will be required to lead at least one (1) orientation/training meeting per semester for cooperating teachers and/or clinical practice interns*
  • I am willing to serve as a Rowan OWL for a three (3) year term*
