Biography

Dr. Wilson-Hill believes that a strong citizenry demands strong schools. For more than 30 years, Dr. Wilson-Hill has applied her fervor for rigorous education in the public school system. She has created, designed, and  presented programs on Career and College Culture; Teacher Perception of Student Ability; Attention Deficient Disorder; Normal and Abnormal Childhood Behaviors; Adolescent Depression; and Adolescent Sexuality. She has made Professional Presentations to The New Jersey Association of College Counselors; Gloucester County Teacher’s Association; Gloucester County Middle School Counselors Association; Newark Teachers Association; Camden City Convocation of School Administrators and the Camden County Juvenile Justice System.

She currently is a High School Professional School Counselor. In this capacity she serves as the High School Affirmative Action Officer and Sexual Harassment Officer, as well as the Leader of the Crisis Team.  She passionately instills the need for a rigorous College and Career Culture in public education with every administrator, teacher, parent and student. In addition, her research interest include: equity for underrepresented groups as well as accessibility and approachability for underrepresented groups in rigorous math and science fields.

Dr. Wilson-Hill earned her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from  Rowan University; her M.A.  from Glassboro State College; and her  B.A. from Temple University in Philadelphia. She is an active member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and a National Judge for the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest, which allocates in excess of $55,000.00 to students annually for college.
